Now that the Legacy Group mess is being investigated, lots of political figure were dragged on protecting businessman turned politician Celso De Los Angeles. Allegedly, Vice President Noli De Castro was protecting De Los Angeles for supporting him in 2004 election. But Kabayan did not disclose De Los Angeles’ contribution to his Statement of Election Contributors and Expenditures submitted to COMELEC.

Vice President Noli de Castro will definitely not run for re-election for Vice President in 2010 Election. I didn’t forget that he supposed to run for President last 2004 Election but he end up as President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s running mate.
“Second term, definitely not. Vice-President na ako ngayon e. [Naging] vice president na rin ako ng ABS-CBN. Kung VP din lang, hindi na,” (I’m already the Vice-President. I was also vice-president of ABS-CBN. If it’s the VP [post] again, never mind) de Castro said.
