Con-Ass Nationwide Rally On June 10

Whatever denials of Malacañang is saying now in press conference that they’re not behind the approval of Con-Ass in Kamara, people are against HR 1109. Catholic Bishops’ Conference in the Philippines (CBCP) Bishop Deogracias Yñiguez said that we shouldn’t not wait for our bishops to say “go to the street and protest”. It is clear that they are against Con-Ass. However, they ask the public to protest in peace.

GMA Will Not Run In 2010 Election

This was announced in Sunday by Palace spokesman, Secretary Cerge Remonde in a press conference. According to him, there are no evidence that GMA will run in 2010 election and they never talked about plans of running again. The press conference was held after the arrival of GMA from Russia and South Korea.
Secretary Remonde denied that Malacañang is behind the approval of House Resolution 1109 in June 2. He also said that Con-Ass proponents were seeking to resolve a Constitutional issue.

Congressmen Who Signed Con Ass

The following are the Congressmen and Party List Representatives who signed the House Resolution 1109 or better known as Constitutional Assembly or Con Ass two nights ago. I am disappointed to know that our beloved Congressman was included. Its felt like a shattered dream to our municipality, a betrayal of trust to his constituents. Now that I know his true color, he doesn’t deserve my vote again.

Pulse Asia's Presidentiable Preference Survey

Pulse Asia Inc had released today the Ulat ng Bayan May 2009 nationwide survey report on Presidential Preference. The survey was conducted from May 4-17, 2009 nationwide based on 1,200 representative adult, a valid voter of 18 years old and above.

The result shows that Vice President Noli de Castro, Senator Chiz Escudero, Former President Joseph Estrada, Senator Manuel Villar and Senator Mar Roxas dominated the first five rank. You could  see the whole report here.
