GMA Will Not Run In 2010 Election

7 June 2009 No Comment

17This was announced in Sunday by Palace spokesman, Secretary Cerge Remonde in a press conference. According to him, there are no evidence that GMA will run in 2010 election and they never talked about plans of running again. The press conference was held after the arrival of GMA from Russia and South Korea.

Secretary Remonde denied that Malacañang is behind the approval of House Resolution 1109 in June 2. He also said that Con-Ass proponents were seeking to resolve a Constitutional issue.

Con-Ass Protests!
Many mass protest started already the day after it was approved. In fact, rallyists passed by Parañaque and headed to Malacañang. Everyday, there are politicians and influential religious leaders were interviewed against the resolution. CBCP (Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines) president Archbishop Angel Lagdameo, reminded protesters to do away with violence when holding rallies. Maybe, he knew that most filipinos are against the resolution. It just so happen that I also watched Jesus is Lord Evangelist Eddie Villanueva’s interview in TV Patrol. And many more…

I don’t believed that GMA will not run again. Matagal nang bilog ang ulo ko.
