16 Congressmen and sectoral representatives will be joining President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s 10-day trip to Brazil and Japan according to DFA (Department of Forein Affairs) this month. Some solons will be accompanied by their spouses and 2 representatives will bring along their daughters.

Previous travel abroad of GMA, she was accompanied by 50 house members in US trip and 35 house members entourage in her European trip. Reportedly, solons said they will use their own money to join GMA on this trip. Previous companions of GMA from previous trips also said this.
