2nd Leadership Forum At UP

27 May 2009 One Comment

Last May 11, the Countdown to 2010 activities included Leadership Forum held at Ateneo de Manila attended by 5 possible presidentiables: Senator Francis Escudero, Senator Richard Gordon, Senator Panfilo Lacson Senator Mar Roxas, Pampanga Gov. Ed Panlilio and Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro.

I watch it on TV live and watch again the replay. The live audience as well as the televiewers heard the presidentiables talked about the political issues and problems in the Philippines, some already choose they candidate. The good news, there will be a part two of Leadership Forum with other presidentiables who didn’t make it in the first forum.

The second leadership forum sponsored by ANC with the cooperation of University of the Philippines (UP) will be on June 5 at 7:00 pm at the UP School of Economics Auditorium, University of the Philippines, Quezon City.

ANC has confirmed Former President Joseph Estrada, Sen. Loren Legarda, Sen. Panfilo Lacson, and Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay. Vice President Noli De Castro and MMDA Chairman, Bayani Fernando have also been invited to participate, but have yet to confirm. Sen. Manuel Villar has extended his regrets as he will be out of the country.

The ANC Leadership Forum is the second of a series of forums and talks which ANC will be holding throughout the year.

We hope that Bayani Fernndo will join the forum. I hate him..before. But after knowing that he did not sign the anomalous WB contract that cost him his job as DPWH Sec.; after knowing that the pink and blue color is derived form the color of Our Lady of Guadalupe where MMDA office is; After knowing that he is repairing the houses of the squatters; after knowing that he built cheap lodging houses for the promdis who are in Manila—-after knowing all of this, I now join the silent clamor for a BAYANI PRESIDENCY…this former sacristan deserves our support. I will now wonder if most of his campaigner now are those who hate him before. is this snowball?
