The private funeral of the late former President Corazon Aquino will be held on Wednesday, August 5. Malacanang has declared August 5 as a Special Non Working Holiday. 10-Day National Mourning For Cory Aquino

The Philippine Government announced yesterday the 10-day national mourning for the late former President Corazon Aquino who passed away yesterday morning at 3:18 am in Makati Medical Center. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo from working visit to New York announced the following:

Its an “old school” trend for public officials in position to campaign early and take advantage of their position. Did anybody said, “lumang tugtugin“? If my memory serves me right, my tatay will told me, “kung ano ang tugtog, siya ring sayaw“. I guess, the phrase my dad told me fits in this case.
